About the Ensemble
The “Veterok” Dance Ensemble is a renowned children and youth choreographic group from Russia with a rich artistic history and strong creative traditions. Founded in 1976, the ensemble has grown into one of the leading dance collectives in its region.
“Veterok” works in a wide range of styles, including folk, character, stage folk, children’s and contemporary choreography. The repertoire features Russian folk dances, dances of the world, and original choreographic compositions that reflect national culture, traditions, and modern stage interpretation.
The ensemble regularly performs on major concert stages and is a multiple laureate and Grand Prix winner of national and international festivals and competitions. Its performances are known for high technical level, expressive artistry, colorful costumes, and strong stage presence.
“Veterok” successfully represents Russian dance culture abroad and is open to international festivals, cultural exchanges, and touring projects.
